Had I know a little Frisbee toss would have turned into "Ultimate Frisbee", I probably would have dressed accordingly. Nevertheless, this mixed media of an outfit gave me energy to sprint, jump, and fly my team to a . . . tie.

Glo-in-the-Dark Bocce ball, however, is not quite our game.

The Bright Side.

Something inspiring: We are doing a unit on Integrity in English classes. We watched this video and read an article about it. I got choked up every. single. time. 

Something new: The dress above. It was such a steal at Old Navy! 

Something disturbing: Finding out that these actually exist. 

Something I'm listening to: One Thing Remains by Jesus Culture. I belt out that song.

Savor.

 It's Wednesday & I don't have much to say. 

I feel like I've been rushing through my life lately. Waiting for the snow to melt and skin to be free from layers of down and fleece and wool.

I feel like that's not right though. Like I shouldn't wish away my life. 

So I'm going to attempt to savor the moments. 

The frost bitten hands & the cooped-up teenagers.

Then the summer will be that much sweeter.

Good jeans.

I wore these jeans a couple weekends ago to church in lieu of my usual skirt or dress. Mostly because I knew I would be sitting on stage for most of the sermon and I have issues being a lady--especially taking into account the eye level of my of the crowd.

A friend of mine commented, "I don't think I've ever seen you in jeans!" In quite a delighted way. It made me giggle a little. You see, I generally hate jeans. My inseam is 35.5" for starters. Then--I'm going to sound like a grandma for a second--I HATE low rise. Hate.

These gap jeans (long & lean) are pretty delightful and comfortable, but I wish they made then in straight leg. You see, a girl needs to tuck her jeans INTO her boots every once in a while.
